During the Reception, the AWL Board is hosting a PURSE DRIVE that benefits Amethyst Place. Amethyst Place is a local organization that provides long-term supportive housing for women and children. Amethyst Place focuses on family empowerment and therapeutic services to help families overcome poverty, lead healthy lives, and heal from past trauma. Its goal is to help women and children achieve recovery, reunification, and resilience. Please bring your new and gently used purses for the women of Amethyst Place to enjoy! We will also be collecting other (new) comfort items to fill the purses – fuzzy socks, scented lotion, nail polish, etc. Click HERE to learn more about Amethyst Place.
